"Filter wore out way too fast"
The air purifier itself is fine, but the filter really didn’t hold up like I expected. After just a few weeks, it already seemed weak and I was still noticing dust building up around the room. I reached out to support, but it felt like I kept getting passed around in a loop without a clear answer. For how much the replacement filters cost, I expected better performance

I’ve had my Alen purifier for a little over a year now, and it’s held up well compared to other smaller appliances I’ve owned. We run it most days in the living room, and it still feels solid, nothing rattly, loose, or cheap so far. The filter door still closes like it should too, which is more than I can say for a couple of other purifiers I’ve tried. I’m giving it 4 stars only because the buttons are starting to feel a little worn, but overall it still seems durable.

"Feels cheap and not worth the price"
I was expecting this to look a lot nicer for what I paid. In person, it feels plain and kind of bulky in my room, and the front panel just looks cheap to me. It really doesn’t match my furniture at all. I kept hoping it would grow on me, but it just stands out in a bad way. For something this expensive, I expected a more modern design, and it’s frustrating because it feels like looks were barely considered.

"Support was fine, just a little slow"
I reached out to Alen support because there was an issue with my filter order. They did get back to me, so that was good, but it took longer than I thought it would. I ended up having to follow up once, which was kind of... not a huge deal, but still.
The person I talked to was polite and they did eventually sort everything out. So I wouldn’t say it was a bad experience exactly. It just felt a bit slow, and at first I wasn’t totally sure what was happening or when it would be fixed.
Overall, it was okay. The problem got solved, which is the main thing, but I do think the customer service side could be a little quicker and maybe more organized. Just a bit more clear from the start would’ve helped.

"Didn't really help with the smell"
I ran it literally all day and the room still smelled bad. I was hoping it would make a difference, but I couldn't tell that it helped at all.
"Much Quieter Than I Anticipated"
I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it is. It runs so smoothly that most of the time I barely even notice it’s on, which is a big plus for day-to-day use

"My allergies feel a lot more under control now"
I’ve been sneezing a lot less at night since I started using it, which surprised me. My allergies aren’t totally gone, but they’re much more manageable. I’d say it’s worth trying if nighttime allergies have been bothering you too

"Shipping was quicker than I expected"
I ordered from alen.com and thought it might take longer, maybe because sites don’t always make delivery times super clear unless they’re trying to keep expectations low. But it actually showed up sooner than I figured it would. The box was in good shape, tracking updated like it should, and the whole delivery was painless. No complaints on my end.

"Works good for dust"
I've been using it for a bit and the air does feel cleaner. I'm sneezing a lot less now, which is kinda what I was hoping for. Seems to help with dust well, so yeah, I'm happy with it so far...

"Setup was just a headache"
It took way longer than it should’ve. The instructions were just kind of unclear, and I kept having to watch videos just to figure out how to get it running. Definitely not a smooth setup experience.

"Smart controls have been frustrating"
I really wanted to like the smart controls, but the app keeps disconnecting, the controls are slow to respond, and auto mode just never seems to get it right. It’s been annoying to deal with, and I feel like this is something the company should at least acknowledge and apologize for

The air purifier itself works just fine, no complaints there. But wow, the replacement filters are stupid expensive. I didn’t even think about that part until it was time to buy one, and then these little money-goblin filters nearly made me regret the whole thing. makes it annoying to keep using.

"Good warranty help, just a little slow"
Had a problem with my Alen purifier so I reached out about the warranty. They did get it taken care of and sorted out a replacement for me, which I really appreciated. Only thing is the replies took a couple days each time, so it felt a bit slow. Overall though, good suppport, just wish it moved a little faster.

This makes maintenence simple. Changing the filter is quick and easy, which I really appreciate.
